1. 抓住题干。如果题目中出现了举例子，那么文章的论点和论据就可以顺着题目中的例子来思考。拿2017年1月12号的题目举例：Some cities have vehicle-free days, when private cars, trucks, motorcycles are banned in the city center. Public transportations like buses, taxis and metros are advised. To what extent do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. 题目中列出了具体的车的种类以及公共交通的类别，考生在思考论点和论据时就可以从中寻找角度和灵感。

2. 看有无敏感词。敏感词就是比较绝对的词，比如: only, must等词汇。拿2014年1月25号的题举例： The international community must act immediately to ensure that all countries reduce the consumption of fossil fuels (e.g. gas and oil). To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? 一般情况下，题目中如果出现这类特别绝对的词，选择“disagree”会比较好些。但是也不是如此，考生还是要根据自己的思路理性地判断和选择自己的立场。

3. 答题的顺序和思路依照题目的提问方式来。拿2017年2月10号的题目来看: In modern society, ambition is more and more important. How important is ambition for being successful in life? Is ambition a positive or negative characteristic? 题目包括两个提问：有多重要，以及好不好。那么就“重要”谈一段，“好不好”谈一段。
