　　How to Eliminate False Advertisement

　　Advertisements appear everywhere in modern society. However, it is acknowledged that many advertisements involve great deal of false information.

　　广告在现代社会中无处不在。然而，许多广告涉及大量虚假信息，这是大家都公认的。

　　Undoubtedly, false advertisements are extremely harmful to our society. Some advertisements are indeed misleading. They tend to exaggerate the merits of the products while concealing the demerits. Some advertisers even go so far as to fabricate information to promote their products or services. Thus, consumers might be tricked into buying things that are not at all as good as what is advertised. Even worse, serious problems can arise if advertisements cover up the side effects of certain medicines.

　　毫无疑问，虚假广告对我们的社会是极其有害的。有些广告的确是误导。他们往往在夸大产品的优点的同时掩盖其缺点。有些广告甚至偏离更远，为了促销其产品或服务不惜编造信息。因此，消费者可能会被欺骗从而购买东西，而这些东西并不如广告上的那么好。更糟的是，如果广告掩盖某些药物的副作用，可能会产生严重的问题。

　　Therefore, a campaign should be launched to eliminate false advertisements, which involves the joint efforts of the government and the customers. Government should regulate the contents of advertisements and punish those who endanger the customers'interests. Then, advertisers are prohibited to exaggerate the merits of their products or services. In addition, consumers should be alert to any false advertisements. (156 words)

　　因此，为了杜绝虚假广告，应该发起一个运动，这其中包括政府和消费者的共同努力。政府应该规范广告的内容，并惩罚那些危害消费者利益的广告商。然后，广告商不得夸大其产品或服务的优点。此外，消费者应警惕任何虚假广告。
