一天，帕西爷爷的爱心公园突然传来呼救声，原来是一只小兔子掉进井里啦！帕西爷爷和朋友们想拿绳子把小兔子拽上来，可结果却让大家吃了一惊……本文适合小学六年级学生阅读。

It is quiet in Percy’s park. Suddenly (突然), Percy and his animal friends hear some loud shouting from far away. “Help! Help!” Two rabbits run straight (径直跑向) at Percy. “We are playing on the grass to see who jumps the highest. But the little rabbit falls into (掉进) the well. The well eats my sister!” cries one rabbit.

“There’s no water in that well,” Percy says, “but it's very deep.” He takes out a long rope (绳子). Then he looks into the dark hole. But he can’t see anything. “Can you hear me?” calls Percy. “Yes, but I hit my head (磕到头了) .” A little voice answers.

“We’re sending down a rope, tie it tight (把它系紧) and we’ll pull (拉) you up,” calls Percy. The little rabbit isn’t quite sure what to do, so she ties the rope tightly to a log (圆木) beside her. Suddenly, the little rabbit finds a small opening (洞) in the wall of the well. “What is it?” she asks.

Percy and the animal friends pull and pull. Up comes the rope. But they get a terrible surprise ! They pull up a great big log!
