I am Wang Ping, a Senior One student from the Affiliated High School of Fujian Normal University. Nowadays, many cultural relics have already been destroyed and hundreds of others are facing the danger of disappearing. So how to protect them has been our task of top priority.
Cultural relics represent historic cultures. They offer us a great opportunity to learn about what happened in the past and they are the roots of a city or a place. They have survived for a long time and they are usually very rare and valuable.
I think the government and schools should teach people more about the protection of cultural relics and the people should mind their behavior when travelling. Firstly, we should pay more attention to the environment pollution. It’s the first step we should take to protect our cultural relics. Secondly, we should enforce our awareness of protecting cultural relics, to teach people publicly about how to do this. Thirdly, we should do something useful for the course of protecting cultural relics. As far as I know, every city is trying to protect its cultural relics. The government makes policies to regulate people’s behavior at the relics and call for people to take action to save the cultural relics. Some people make outstanding contributions to the work. With their efforts, more and more people become concerned about protecting cultural relics.
