We took turns describing the puppy’s appearance and characteristics. We said that it had soft fur, floppy ears, and a wagging tail. It was so much fun!

　　In the afternoon, we had a special guest speaker who brought some real animals to the classroom. We were all so excited to see them up close. The speaker showed us a rabbit, a parrot, and a turtle. We were allowed to touch and pet them gently. I couldn’t believe how soft the rabbit’s fur was! It was such a wonderful experience.

　　At the end of the day, we had a short quiz to test our knowledge about animals. Miss Johnson asked us questions like “What is the largest land animal?” and “What animal can fly?” I was proud of myself because I knew the answers to most of the questions.
