The Dragon Boat Festival ，also called the Duanwu Festival ，is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar.People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.
The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races，especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. Its very popular.
The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice，meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings.They are very delicious.And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed icide by drowning himself in a river.
Overall， the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting!
Today is Children's Day.My father takes me to the zoo.There are many the kinds of animals,the tigers, the pandas,the lions, the elephants,the giraffes and the bears.
They are the different from each other ,some are shy, some are beautiful, some are interesting , some are friendly, some are so cute. But i think these animals are unhappy, they should live in the forest,because the life in the zoo are different from that in the forest.
Today is saturday,and it is also a busy day.In the morning,I got up at eight o'clock,then I ate breakfast.After breakfast,I cleaned my room,it was dirty but it is clean now.In the afternoon,I played badminton with my neighbours.In the evening,I helped my mother cooked dinner.After I ate dinner,I washed dishes.After finishing my homework,I watched TV.
Today is a busy day,but I'm very happy.
Today, I went hiking with my friends. As we traveled for some distance, so this time we could see the different scenery. At first, we decided to see the sunrise, but all of us missed the perfect time, so we changed our plan, we decided to watch sunset. We took a visit of the moutain, as the high altitude, I could see the full view of the city. It was so beautiful, especially a long river walk around the city. When it was going to be dark, we saw the sun running down the hill, it was so red, as it was burning. The sky first got red and then the clouds made up of some animal shapes. How interesting it was.
Today is Arbor Day, my grandma and I went to the small garden to plant trees, we planted the tree called the tree.
I bent over, first with a shovel, dug a pit and then let grandma put carambola tree saplings in, good let grandma helped saplings, I again with a shovel to dig some soil, the tree roots to fill, with a shovel flatten it, finally, I put the water in the soil, so as to let carambola tree growing up quickly. I'm so tired. My tree is finally growing.
The Arbor Day tells us to love flowers and trees, not to destroy it. Planting trees and planting trees is the responsibility of all of us. We need to plant more trees, because more trees can make our home better, so that the air can become more fresh, so we can't destroy it. Planting trees is good for us.
It's such a good day to start the day!
