You're a good person But ... Once a time, here came an organization called 'good guy' club on the BBS website in Taiwan Province. It was made up of a great number of members and online friends whom have been refused after showing love to another person. That's where the recent popular phrase 'good guy card' was created and became famous. About the origin of 'good guy', there is a story that a bachelor unbosomed himself to the girl he admired in heart only getting the answer 'You're a good guy, but I can't see a future in the relationship between us'. From then on, 'you're a good person but' was regarded as a signal of been refused by loved ones. Most girls start a negative reply to a love message from the person in whom she has no feeling with positive words. The reason of the above phenomenon has been revealed in a new research which shows the great differences in sexes over how to refuse the love from others. Women are far more concerned about letting a man down gentle - trying to soften the blow with emotional reason for the refusing. 'You're a good guy' is just a typical beginning of this kind of reply and it may come in the same structure with different words. Here are some examples: I'm flattered that you asked, but I'm too busy to pursue a serious relationship right now. I like you ,but I'm just not interested in you in that way. You're a great friend, and I'd rather that we keep it this way. Does receiving a good guy card really set an end to your love? Some may just give up and be a friend even break with another and never say hi again. Others will think this just a start of a long road chasing for love and keep on trying they until finally make it. Then how to decide which way should you take after getting a so called good guy card. First you'd learn to divide these 'cards' into two types which are you're good but really not my thing and you're good but we are not close enough to start a relationship. The later one means the more you do the worse she will feel about you so it's wise of you to stop bothering her. The other fortunately shows that you still stand a chance in wooing your girl and persistence and considerate care will bring you a reward. Last but not the least, the character you shall obtain if you want to win the heart of whom you are into. A questionnaire survey on a dating website found out that a large part of girls attach the greatest importance to being sincere in a relationship. The sincere message is foundation of conducting self, base of starting one's career and love. Trust without which the relationship can't go any far comes just after being sincere. The feeling of responsibility is also something that matter in a girl's judge of whether a man is capable enough to depend on. After saying all above, it's a hard but fabulous job to make or to keep a relationship.
