知识就是力量 英语演讲稿 Vladimir Ilyich Lenin once said: “Books are great strength.” Many people think it a little exaggerated. Actually, when I was young and first heard this saying, I also thought so. But now, when I think back to my life, I find that the book plays a vital role in my life, not only because it contains the knowledge as we all know, but also because it affects my personality, my friendship and even my life. 弗拉基米尔伊里奇列宁曾经说过：“知识就是力量”许多人认为这有点夸张。其实，当我年轻的时候，第一次听到这句话，我也这么想。但是现在，当我回想我的生活时，我发现这本书在我的生活中起着至关重要的作用，不仅因为它包含了我们都知道的知识，还因为它影响了我的个性，我的友谊，甚至我的生活。 In my family, my parents are both teachers and like reading, so there are many books in our house. When I was a little girl, I was attracted by those interesting stories full of wisdom which open the door of thinking by myself. My favorite place is the library. My mother is very happy for this, because so long as I was put in library, she would have the whole day to do whatever she likes. They left their comments, discussed it, and encouraged me to never give it up, which moved me very much. There are several people who are very kind and have the same hobbies as me among them, so we become good friends and even send postcards and small gifts to each other in real life. Without it, I couldn’t stand here and give a speech. Without it, I couldn’t have these interesting experiences.
