第 2讲 邀请信 [技法点拨] 邀请信是个人或团体举办某些活动时邀请单位成员或其他个人前来参加的一类信件。邀请信属于应用文的写作范畴。邀请信在形式上大体分为两种：一种为正式格式，即事务信函、一般是邀请参加会议、学术活动等；一种是非正式格式，即个人信函，一般用于邀请某人共进晚餐、参加宴会、观看电影等。邀请信一定要将见面的具体时间、地点等写清楚，不可给收信人留下任何疑问。同时，要根据邀请的内容以及与被邀请对象的关系选取恰当的语言，并在信中表达希望对方参加或出席的愿望 。 (一)邀请信的行文结构 英文邀请信的格式和普通的英文书信一样，由称呼语、正文、结束语和署名四部分组成 1．称呼语：指对被邀请者的称呼：如果是写给长辈、名人等，称呼应正式、礼貌一些，如“Dear Dr.Smith”等；如果是写给朋友、同学等，称呼可较为亲切随意一些，如“Dear Lucy”等。 2．正文：指邀请信传达的主要内容。正文通常分为三部分：开头部分表明写信的原因；主体部分阐述事件安排；结尾部分进行总结。 3．结束语：指正文结束后结尾客套性话语，位于文章右下角，常用“Yours，”、“Yours sincerely，”等表示，逗号不可以省略。 4．署名：指在文章末尾署上发起邀请的人的姓名。 (二)邀请信正文的写作安排 1．开头：开门见山地表明写信的原因，常用表达有： a．I am writing to invite you to... b．I think it would be a great idea if you could participate in... c．I wonder if you can come... 2．主体：具体陈述邀请对方参加活动的信息(包括时间、地点和过程等)。常用表达有： a．The contest whose theme is... will be held in... b．What's more，there will be...taking part in it. c．Besides this，there will be many other famous artworks in the exhibition. 3．结尾：表达希望被邀请者应邀而来的心情，常用表达有： a．I'm sure that it will be a great success. b．I would appreciate it if you could accept my invitation. c．We are looking forward to your coming.
