高分范文1

Recently, I have conducted a survey on what hobbies students prefer to have during their spare time. Doing sports, as 53% of them choose, takes the lead, while surfing the Internet follows closely behind, which is the choice of 36% of them. Only 8% and 3% of them do some reading and playing music instruments separately. On the basis of the conclusion of the survey, my points of view are as follows. To my relief, more than half of the students are keen on doing sports regularly, which strongly fights back the argument that teenagers are taking the risk of obesity due to lack of movement. Teenagers nowadays have come to realize that sports serve as a kind of recreation after a clay’s hard work. Only when they have exercised regularly will they be more absorbed in their studies later on. Long and continuous study, however, can interfere with one’s health and the efficiency may be reduced by half. Nevertheless, despite the relieving 53%, a rapidly growing number of students tend to stick to the Internet for entertainment, which arouses my attention. Like a coin, Internet has two sides and what we can acquire from the Internet depends on how we use it. Some teenagers may be tempted to chat online and play video games, while leaving their academic studies untouched. The results of their studies are bound to be affected in the long run. It’s high time that we were aware of the fact. Some departments concerned should further study the facts and take measures to prevent the present situation from worsening. Apart from doing sports and surfing the Internet, some students take up reading and playing musical instruments as their hobbies, but only a small portion. Whatever hobbies we develop, we

should have the belief that hobbies are absolutely beneficial to us students.

高分范文2

Recently, a survey on what hobbies students prefer to have during their spare time has been conducted. According to the result, we can see that the students in our school spend their leisure time cultivating their hobbies mainly in four different areas. Sports account for the highest 53% of all while reading only 8%. Meanwhile, 3% take up playing some musical instruments whereas 36% are fond of surfing the Internet. Judging from the pie chart, we can easily reach the conclusion that we peers are showing the tendency to get into hobbies that kill fewer brain cells, in other words, the ones involving less thinking. I’m not saying that moderate exercise is meaningless, nor am I denying the fact that Internet does provide us with access to the world, and under no circumstances will I claim that we should sit still in front of desks, burying ourselves in books all the time. What I want to say is that, we should spend a bit more time, and encourage more students to find the fun in reading. As the saying goes, reading a book is just like chatting with a wise man and a good friend. Through the experience of reading, we get wisdom and knowledge, and only through reading can we fully sense the beauty, the enthusiasm, and love from people, life and the world. Furthermore, at the time when you need calm and comfort, you can really get fully indulged in the atmosphere demonstrated in books. Therefore we should spend more time doing more reading during our leisure time.

高分范文3

I’ve just conducted a survey in my school concerning the students’ hobbies and interests. And I’ve made a pie chart to show you the result. It’s apparent in the chart that doing sports ranks first, taking up 53%, followed by surfing the Internet accounting for 36%. On the other hand, a relatively small number of students prefer reading and playing musical instruments, both of which occupies less than 10%. The result of the survey is not surprising. As teenagers, it’s natural for a large number of us to spend our spare time playing outside, which will do good to our physical well-being. However, what worries me is that the number of students who choose the Internet is on the rise while that of reading books and playing musical instruments is dropping dramatically. With the development of modern technology, more computer games online are developed to cater to the teenagers, interest, many of which are both violent and meaningless. Unfortunately, a number of students have developed an addiction to them. They spend lots of time sitting in the sofa eating potato chips with one hand and clicking the mouse with the other. Such practice will certainly do no good to them both mentally and physically because they are gaining nothing but their weight. What’s more, students who are addicted to the virtue world tend to be lazy and be reluctant to go back to work and study. I would like the education administrations to take steps to encourage students to spend their spare time reading or playing musical instruments as both of the hobbies will do good to them in the long run. Meanwhile, the use of computers and the Internet should be specially guided by teachers. Only by doing so can we make our after-school life more colorful and meaningful.
