(1) when表示“当„„的时候”， 从句中既可以用延续性动词， 表示状态或时间段， 也可以用非延续性动词， 表示动作或时间点； while表示“当„„ 的时候”、“在„„期间”， 从句中只能用延续性动词， 表示状态或时间段。例如： It was snowing when we arrived at the station.
