My distinguished teachers and dear friends, Good evening.

It 's my pleasure to stand here and introduce myself. My name is Ma Lian from Foreign Language Department. It's my honor to give you a speech .My topic is How to balance study and part-time job.

In order to improve our socializing skills, lighten our financial burden and also spend our spare time, lots of us choose to hunt for a part-job.According to the survey ,there are about 70% of collage students doing a part-time work. So here comes to this question How to balance study and part-time job.

Firstly, many of us may complain about the shortage of time. When you focus on one, you may lose the other. But remember positive attitude is the key to everything.Be confident that you can deal with these two items . For instance , you can make a clear timetable and this will remind you your arrangement and making the full use of you time .After all,not only study but also accumulate relevant working experience is very important.

Secondly, never let part-time jobs occupy our school time.I usually do a part-time job in my holiday. What's more, when I have to choose between work and study,my answer is always study. Now,I want to ask you 2 questions .How many years can we use to study?Yes ,three. Then, how many years can we use to work.? Yes it will be a long time ,maybe 30 or 40. It's obvious now, collage life is so precious ,therefore, we should enjoy our time in school. In the future there will be opportunities for us to work. And at that time ,you'll definitely miss the past time in collage .Why not cherish every second here?

Everyone wants to be successful, right?

If you want to be successful, you should study hard.

If you want to be successful, you should have part- time job experience.

If you want to be more successful, you should balance study and part-time job. That's all for my speech. Thanks for your listening!
