As a senior 3 student, I don’t think I have too much homework. Instead, I can still find time to do some extra reading every day. In my opinion, large amount of homework for students of senior 3 is certainly necessary since we can apply what we’ve learned in class and have a better understanding of the knowledge after doing our homework. What’s more, more homework means more chances to discover our shortcomings and adjust our learning plans. My homework usually takes up part of my out-of-class time, and I spend the rest of the time learning on my own. All in all, we should use our out-of-class time properly and efficiently. 话题 6 兴趣和爱好(Interests and hobbies) Good hobbies, which are activities a person likes to do in his spare time, can benefit his growth and amuse him. Meanwhile, good hobbies will be accompanied with the growth of kids. As for me, what I like most is singing. I began to sing songs when I was very young. I showed great interest in music then, because my uncle often taught me some songs, which were good to listen to and easy to sing. Our opinions on this topic are divided. 85% of the students are in favor of it, believing that respecting the old is one of the Chinese traditional virtues and can show our good manners, which leave a deep impression on other people. However, 15% of the students are strongly against it, saying that in some foreign cultures and even in China today it is not polite to do that because it shows we don’t believe the old people can do things by themselves, which tells them they are too old. It is such a long vacation that it will last almost two months. After studying hard in this semester, we all expect to relax ourselves during the vacation.
