The style of the competition was very novel. Each student was divided into small groups, and each group chosen eight representative for competition. First, we had an in-depth discussion about the various Tang poetry that we love. Everyone had heated discussions about the poet's thought, the beautiful allusions, and the profound implications. During the course, we read lots of classic verses from the Tang Dynasty, analyzing, comparing and understanding them from different angles. Then it was the presentation session. All representatives of each group took turns speaking and explaining the content of the poems, and expressing their love for Tang poetry in spoken language, as well as reciting some of their favorite Tang poetry. The atmosphere of the whole competition was exciting and inspiring. In the end, each of us had gained a lot of knowledge and experience, and some of us won the awards. At the end of the competition, we felt that our love for Tang poetry had grown deeper. Today, this activity has come to an end, but the memory and the love of poetry left in our hearts will be deeply imprinted in our minds forever.
