Main points: I,Mao Zedong is one of amateurs to Bouilli. II,Su Dongpo is the person who put the dish on the stage of history. Bouilli Bouilli,also called braised pork in brown sauce,has a long history in China which can date back to Song Dynasty.And Bouilli is also a comfort food well-suited to preparation at home. Our English teacher takes dishes for example about inform speech in class and worries about that there will be a lot of classmates choose to do so.Maybe,you can find I am one of them.Why would I do that ? The inspiration for me to determine my topic is that recently I read a book whose writer think Bouilli has a special significance to the victory of the Chinese revolution.Because chairman Mao always eat Bouilli to add strength after our army win the battle during Revolutionary War period. We can make a big assumption if there were no Bouilli,what kind of change for Chinese revolution would happen could be difficult to predict. After that I search information about Bouilli.I find there is another celebrity who can be regarded as the originator of the dish.Who is it?It is Su Dongpo ,a great poet in ancient China.When he was an official,he found the local pork were very cheap,but the rich were reluctant to eat it,on the contrary,the poor were incapable to cook it deliciously.To change it,Su improved traditional methods.So the dish has another name “dongpo rou”.From then,Bouilli is a classic dish over the long history.
