Harmfulness of Academic Dishonesty Recently the issue of academic dishonesty has been brought into focus to public attention in education field. It includes plagiarism, fabrication, deception, cheating, bribery, sabotage, professional misconduct and impersonation. According to the numerous reports, this phenomenon has not only been found happening on students but also on well-known academic researchers.
