Introduction

System Dynamics is a field of study that provides a holistic approach to understanding and managing complex systems. It is a useful tool for analyzing and solving problems in a variety of fields including business, engineering, public policy, and social systems. This teaching design is med at introducing students to the key concepts in system dynamics and equipping them with the skills and knowledge to apply these concepts to real-world situations.

Course Overview

The course will be structured around the following topics:

1. Introduction to System Dynamics 2. Stocks and Flows 3. Feedback Loops 4. Nonlinear Dynamics

Teaching Methodology

The course will be taught through a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies, and computer simulations. Lectures will be used to introduce new ideas and concepts while group discussions and case studies will be used to help students apply these concepts to real-world problems. Computer simulations will be used to help students create models and visualize the dynamics of complex systems.
