Today, I want talk something about the superheroes movies. When we were children, maybe most of us, especially the boys, had heard about or had already watched these movies like: Superman, X-man, Spiderman and other superheroes movies from America. But when there are more and more superhero movies has been filmed, there are more criticism, too. Someone said that these heroes are always America, all the different stories have the same mode. And these movies are just the culture aggression of America. But today I want to say maybe some superheroes movies are rubbish but not all of them. We shouldn’t assess them on the surface but dig them more deeply, discover something like the main theme, the metaphor, the technology in filming, the originality and so on. So today, my topic is Superheroes movies should not be scorned. When we talk about the superhero movies we must mention two big comics companies in America, one is DC which is the superman comes from and the other is Marvel. These heroes are from Marvel：…….. Then I want to introduce some of them for you to help you to understand my idea. The first one is Hulk….…the second is IM……the third is CA. Thor is…he is the son …he lives in a plante named Asgard. … Thor has a brother, Loki. This is Loki. In the film Thor, they have to against each other. Of course these two paragraphs is not written by myself. The author is Tom Hiddleston. He is an actor. He played Loki in the movie Thor. I think he is a really remarkable man, he was a student of Cambridge, he has a good understanding on drama（here drama means戏剧）like the plays written by Shakespeare. He is one of the reasons drag me back to the superhero movies. Ok let’s go back to my topic. The reasons I think the superhero movies shouldn’t be scorned can be talked into three parts. First of all is the superhero. To these movies, we are audients. We are angry or scared about what the bad guys have done and feel happy and release when the superhero finally defeat the strong enemies. When we are watching these movies, we are addicted in the intense situations. These emotions I said above is exactly how we are feeling at that time. I won’t feel bored or ridiculous or something else but become emotional, just like that I won’t say “look! That stupid muscle man comes again!” but respect him because in the movies’ world he is absolutely a hero. Heroes bring us peace justice hope and many other positive things. We worship these heroes because of their outstanding abilities or this is just because we are born to be——worshippers of the strong. So superheroes become role models of kids even some adults like the in-class reading we have learned in U5. The second is the acting of the actors. The superheroes they acted are more humanized. They all have their own characteristics, they should face their own confusing and conquer themselives first then they can save the world. This is also the spotlight of the superheroes. The third of course is the special effects. As the technology is developing, now we can watch movies in 3D. it is really a visual feast for us. With the help of technology, these fantastic ideas of superheroes’ abilities can be explained so vividly and specifically as well as those fighting scenes. At last I want to introduce a movies I have watched two weeks ago. The Avengers. It’s talked about that Loki want to start a war on the earth to help him rule the human beings. And the superheroes are called together as a team named Avengers to stop Loki. Here is a movie trailer for you.
