Hello, everyone, today I want to give you a presentation about color psychology. It is difficult to explain what is color psychology. I have searched the Internet and the explanation is long and complicated. You can simply consider it as a subject about the relationship between color and human psychology. And later I will show you how colors affect our psychology. First I want to introduce this guy to you. Maybe you have seen him in the popular TV show <非诚勿扰>. I think his comments are both accurate and interesting. He is…… Ok, now you can see eight colors here, you can tell me what color you love best and I will give you a brief understanding about this color and your personality. …… Our sense of colors varies in many aspects. For example, the temperature of colors, of course I don’t mean that there are hot colors and cold colors. But the temperature we feel about things of different colors. Have you noticed the water faucet, why red for hot and blue for cold? It is not hard to understand, we all know that colors can be devided into warm colors and cool colors. Red belongs to warm color and can make us think about the sun or the flame. Blue belongs to cool color and can make us think about the sea or the ice. For the same reason, summer is coming, we can see fans everywhere, but most of them are cold colors, have you seen red fans like this? I don’t think red fans can sell well, at least I won’t buy. It give me the impression that the wind it blows is warm. Ok, let’s move on to the next. The length of colors, a test have done on two people, they are asked to enter two rooms. One is all red and one is all blue. According to the rule, they should come out in one hour without any timing tool. The one in red room just stayed for 40 minutes but the one in blue room stayed for about 80 minutes. That is because colors as red will disperse people’s attention and will make time seem longer. This can be applicated in many occasions. For example, the meeting room. Long and boring meetings are nightmare to every employees. So, smart boss will decorate meeting room with cold colors like blue. Blue meeting room will make time seem shorter and in some extent can make people feel relaxed. Then I want to say something about the weight of colors. Look at the picture, we can see two cases, which do you think is heavier? You haven’t listed it, how do you know the blue one is heavier than the white one? So that’s why I say colors have weight. Colors with low brightness will seem heavier than colors with high brightness. Black cases will seem 1.8 times heavier than white cases. That can also explain why strongboxes are almost black. Many people like wearing black clothes to make themselves seem more slender. But large area of black can at the same time make one seem heavier than he should be. Ok, then the distance of colors. See the two squares? It seems that the yellow one is closer to us. That’s because there are advancing colors and receding colors. Billboards usually use advancing colors to catch people’s eyes. Statistics show that blue cars are most likely to have car accidents. That’s because blue cars seems farther than other cars. So if you want to buy a car, take this factor into consideration. Then the last, taste of colors. Food with bright colors are easier to rise one’s appetite. See these two dishes, they are all made by fish, but just from the appearance, the one below is more tasty than the other one. That’s all I want to say. Wish you a colorful life. Thank you! 本文来源:https://www.wddqw.com/doc/f3057ad7740bf78a6529647d27284b73f242361c.html
