The line graph shows the percentage of different age groups of cinema visitors in a particular country.





The line graph illustrates the changes in the proportion of different groups who were cinema visitors in a particular country during the period from 1978 to 2008.

It is clear that the proportion of people aged 14-24, 25-34 and 35-49 all showed a downward trend. However, that of people aged 50+ experienced an upward trend.

To be more specific, the proportion of people aged 14-24, people aged 25-34, people aged 35-49 and people aged 50+ showed a similar trend, both decreasing dramatically from 90%, 80%, 60% and 40% to around 75%, 60%, 40% and 20% respectively before increasing to 90%, 70%, 62% and 40% separately over the first half of the period.

Then, the proportion of people aged 14-24 underwent a slight drop to roughly 88% until 2003. On the other hand, during the same period, that of people aged 25-34, aged 35-49 and aged 50+ remained stable at 70%, 62% and 40% respectively.

After that, the first three groups declined to about 82%, 65%, 50% separately. While the last group of people aged 50+ had a sharp growth to 50%, which was nearly equal to that of people aged 35-49. (191 words)

The pie charts show the proportion of the energy produced from different sources in a country between 1985 and 2003.



The two pie charts give the information about the changes in the percentage of the energy produced from different sources in a particular country during the period from 1985 to 2003.

It is clear that oil and nuclear had a downward trend while natural gas and coal had an upward trend. Besides, Hydrogen remained unchanged.

In 1985, oil was by far the most popular energy among these different sources, taking up 52% of the total. However, its use decreased dramatically after that. By 1982, this figure dropped to only 39%, remaining the biggest percentage. Similarly, there was a slight drop in the nuclear, reducing from 22% to 17%.

On the contrary, natural gas and coal had an upward trend, growing steadily from 13% and 8% to 23% and 13% respectively. Furthermore, it can be seen from the charts that hydrogen remained stable at 4% during this period from 1985 to 2003. (151 words)
