　　Last summer, I went on a trip to the beach with my family. It was my first time seeing the ocean and I was very excited. We drove for hours to get there and when we arrived, I couldn’t wait to run to the water.

　　As soon as we got settled in our hotel, I changed into my swimsuit and ran down to the beach. The sand was hot on my feet and the sun was shining bright. I felt so happy and free.

　　I spent the whole day playing in the waves and building sandcastles with my little brother. We collected seashells and watched the seagulls fly overhead. It was the best day ever.

　　That night, we had a bonfire on the beach and roasted marshmallows. We sang songs and told stories while we watched the stars twinkle in the sky. I felt so lucky to be there with my family.

　　The rest of the trip was just as fun. We went on a boat ride and saw dolphins jumping out of the water. We visited a lighthouse and climbed to the top for an amazing view of the ocean. And every day, we went back to the beach to play in the sand and surf.

　　When it was time to leave, I felt sad to say goodbye to the ocean. But I knew I would never forget the amazing time I had with my family. It was a summer vacation I would always cherish.

I laugh loudly, because he is shocked by himself and he isn’t angry with me.
