处暑的英语表达

　　二十四节气申遗的成功让中国的传统文化走出去，让更多人可以了解中国。

　　每年的8月23日前后，太阳到达黄经150°，是二十四节气的处暑。

　　“Stopping the Heat” happens on August 23 each year when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 150 degrees.

　　“处”含有躲藏、终止意思，“处暑”表示炎热暑天结束了。《月令七十二候集解》说：“处，去也，暑气至此而止矣。”

处暑的气候特征

　　在这个时候，炎热的夏季过去了，暑气退散。通常白天炎热，早晨和夜晚寒冷。在这个季节，老鹰开始捕抓鸟儿，花草树木开始凋谢，作物如小米、水稻都成熟了。

　　At this point, the hot summer passes and heat stops. It’s usually hot in the day and cold in the morning and in the evening. In this season, the eagle starts to hunt birds, many plants and flowers start to wither, and crops like millet, paddy rice all get mature.

The tradition of eating duck during the End of Heat period is still popular in China.
