Impression after reading Charlotte’s Web After reading Charlotte’s Web, which written by E.B. White, give me a deep touches. This book taught me a lot of things, which are good for me to face the daily life. This story was happened in the Arables’ family. They lived in a small beautiful town. They have two children. The sister called Fern and the brother called Avery. Mr. Arable fed some pigs. One day the mother pig sowed some pigs. But one of them was very small and weak, so Mr. Arable pretended to kill the small pig. Fern knew, she wanted to stop her father. Because in her mind, she thinks all life is equal. It’s so cure to kill this pig. She asked her father to give the small pig to her as a pet, her father allowed. Because of the pig, Fern’s life became colorful. She took care of it well. And she gave it a name “Wilbur”. As time goes by, Wilbur grew up and his body was healthy. Mr. Arable said he was big enough to sell, and would have to be sold. Fern broke down and wept. But her father was firm about it. Then Mr. Arable sold him to Fern’s uncle Homer. And Wilbur began his new life in this farm. He lived with many other kings of animals, such as horses, cows, geese and rat. The barn was very large, and Wilbur’s new home was in the lower part of the barn. He was reasonably happy on the Zuckerman’s farm. However, day after day, he was getting lonelier, and wept as he missed the times he had with Fern. He was very sad. One night, Wilbur heard a small voice he had never heard before, and told him that she was going to be his friend. It was a spider. Her name is Charlotte. She lived in the corner of the doorway. Wilbur was very curious about Charlotte. And he also surprised and happy to be friend with her. They talked to each other and commented on each other’s personality to pass time. Wilbur found that Charlotte had a kind heart, and she was to prove loyal and true to the very end. After an old sheep told him that he was going to be killed at Christmastime. But Wilbur did not want to die. As a friend, Charlotte wanted to save him. She thought of a good idea, she spun some words on her web, she worked on her web day and night. Finally, what she wrote on her web, attracted Mr. Zukerman and the whole town. So Wilbur became famous, a famous pig would not be killed. Because of Charlottes’ hard work, Wilbur became more and more famous. But the summer was nearly gone, Charlotte became weaker and weaker. In the end, Charlotte died at the carnival alone. Before that, Wilbur brought the sack of eggs she had laid before dying back from the carnival with him. This was the only thing Wilbur saw the winter snow, his life was safe, he never forgot Charlotte. As the writer said “It is not often someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer.
