The differences between high school and university Passage one:point-by-point pattern There are several differences between high school and university. First of all,the purpose of teaching is different. In high school,we are taught to pass the colleague entrance exam.However, in university, we are educated to become comprehensive students who knows more about all kinds of knowledge. Secondly ,according to different learning purposes, the content teachers teach are also different. In high school class, teachers focused more on the text books, they taught us reading and writhing skills and we always asked to do a lot of exercise. While in university class, teachers offer us more information related to the text book and encouraged us to read more and think more . Thirdly, the main body is different. Class was dominated by teachers and students just needed to follow what the teacher asked them to do in high school. University, on the contrary, students was encouraged to play a main part in class, they need to take control of their own study, thinking individually teaching themselves.
