《多利安.格雷的画像》 《The picture of Dorian Gray》was written by Oscar Wilde. He was the cleverest writter in Ireland. He was born in 1854 and died in 1900. 《The picture od Dorian Gray》was published nearly one hundred years ago,but it still keeps the readers’ interest. Can you see yourself more clearly in the portrait than in the true life ? If a portrait is full of love,perhaps it may let you see more things than your appearance ,like your soul. As an old saying goes ，‘The face is like a book that can tell stories.’When Dorian Gray saw himself in the portrait, he found it beautiful and wished that he would have this face forever and let his own face change into the one in the portrait.. Anything couldn’t destroy his good appearance---either love or time. So he cut the connection between his face and his soul off . His face never changed , always being young and beautiful. In spite of this, the portrait with love told the true story . It was the true Dorian Gray ,becoming older and older,uglier and uglier with hatred. So he killed anyone that knew the secret and those who let him down. He hated the portrait and wanted to break it into pieces. But the man in the portrait and thw man in the real life quickly changed back. He killed himself.
