The importance of environmental protection The latest news after Donald Trump been the president of America is that America quits the Paris Agreement. However, in my opinion I totally disagree with it, I think the Paris Agreement can even boost the awareness of the people to protect the environment. So today I am going give a presentation on the topic of Environmental Protection. Do you still remember the Great Smog of London that happened in 1952? Thereweremore than 8000 people died due to the terrible air pollution. Even now we are facing the same problem which is the contamination. Therefore, a dispute between the importance of conservation and preservation of ecosystems to protect environment and the necessity to satisfy human desire by sacrifice the environment has been arise across the world. However, without environmental protection, firstly, industry would have unlimited ability to produce chemicals for use as pesticides, additives, etc. without being required to measure their effects on people or their accumulation in water or soils and their impact on the environment, their toxicity, and potential exposure hazard. Secondly, Waste water would be monitored, but there would be no limits or benchmarks for the levels of contaminants in the water. Thirdly, Automobile manufacturers would not be required to adhere to achieve a specific benchmark for noxious gas output, and cars would not be monitored for their output over time. It is debatable if gas mileage would be a consideration, as the only motivator for manufacturers to increase fuel economy would be the price of fuel and consumer willingness to bear the burden of fuel costs. After hearing these, what do you think now? Those are all factors described above that strongly supported the argument to fight for environmental protection and create a better environment. Some of the reasons include environmental air pollution which increases the concentration of carbon dioxide that caused the formation of acid rain. Another reason is one of the side effects like global warming caused by the deforestation which increases the global temperature caused the occurrence of ice melting. A famous poet had said ‘Tobe or not to be'n, ow we are facing the problem of the all kinds of pollutions, we should tell the nature of the environmental protection through our actions in our daily life.
