Such hardware would be an important step for the safety of bicycles, since it would provide the cyclists with a secure place to anchor their bikes. Another factor that can help in this endeavor is by providing tax incentives for purchasing electric bicycles. This has been a successful approach in countries such as China, where electric bicycles are commonplace. In conclusion, increasing bicycle usage requires us to focus on various aspects such as bike infrastructure, improving awareness, tax incentives, and providing more secure places to park bicycle.
