Among numerous festivals, I am more partial to the one, Spring Festival, which is also called Chinese New Year, is like Christmas in the west. Equal to Christmas of the west in significance, the Spring Festival has two features distinguishing it from the other Chinese festivals. One is seeing off the old year and greeting the new. The other is a family reunion. During Spring Festival, we also organize some activities to celebrate, such as pasting couplets, eating family reunion dinner, staying up late on New Year's Eve and handing out red packets. Every custom of Spring Festival is entrusted with simple Chinese good wishes for the New Year, as well as the most sincere wishes for their family.
