胸有成竹故事英语

Once upon a time, there was a famous artist named Bashu. He was known for his incredible skills in painting bamboo. People from all over the country came to see his paintings and were always amazed by his realistic depiction of bamboo.

Bashu loved bamboo and spent most of his time growing and studying it. He observed how it grew, how its leaves and stems changed with the seasons, and how it reacted to different weather conditions. He carefully noted all these details in his mind and in his sketchbooks.

One day, a wealthy merchant came to Bashu's studio and asked him to paint a portrait of his young daughter. The merchant was very specific about what he wanted - a painting of his daughter holding a single bamboo branch in her hand. Bashu agreed to the commission and asked for some time to prepare.

Over the next few days, Bashu carefully observed his bamboo plants, taking notes on their shapes, colors, and textures. He sketched different poses of the bamboo branch and considered various angles and lighting

effects. Finally, he had a clear idea of what he wanted to paint.

When the merchant returned, Bashu began painting. He used his sketches and notes as a reference and quickly blocked out the basic composition. As he worked, the bamboo branch and his daughter's hand merged into a single, harmonious image. The merchant watched in amazement as Bashu's brushstrokes flowed effortlessly onto the canvas.

After several hours, Bashu finished the painting. The merchant looked at it in silence for a moment, then broke into a wide smile. "This is exactly what I wanted," he said. "You have captured the essence of bamboo and my daughter's beauty in one stroke."
