2016年12月17日托福口语Task1 – Describe what would you do to comfort your friend’s close family member’s illness and explain why you think it is useful.
　　好朋友的家人生病，该怎样comfort 病人，并解释觉得那样做有用的原因。
　　提问比较笼统的一道题，大家可以按照一般日常状况来确定所采取的措施。

　　Some students choose to enter the university immediately after finishing high school,others prefer to taking time off before beginning the university class.
　　高中后是立即进大学还是take a time off，并解释原因。也就是类似于要不要gap year的问题。这样的题目组织观点还是不难的，不过找原因的时候，要注意尽量与有利于学业或者是有利于将来的成长联系起来。
　　赞同take a time off的话，可以根据利用这段时间做什么事情来写好处和原因。一般来说常见的就是traveling,working,starting a business or learning a skill。另外不管是上述哪一种有两点共同的好处就是有助于确定自己未来学习的方向以及可以提高社交技能;而反对take a time off的话，也很容易把原因归到一下子脱离学校会很危险以及影响学习和将来就业上，如 hard to get back to study, easy to be tempted to do something wrong.

　　I believe that there are tremendous benefits of taking one year break after high-school.
　　Firstly, taking one year off could make a student realize what he loves. Most high-school graduates don't know how to select a major. Gap year can make it happen. Interested in learning Japanese? Just go to Japan.Learning a language with cultural immersion is the best way to master it as well as figure out whether you really like it or not.
　　In addition, during the gap year, students can learn a lot of social skills. As all students will finally step into society, social skills is an indispensable part of education. Gap year forces them to deal with all kinds of people by themselves, which will no doubt improve their social skills.

　　学生信里建议学校修一条水泥path，因为原来的路很脏，下雨天会弄脏学生的鞋，而且修新路可以改变面貌。听力中的男生不赞同。原因：1.本来就修建有路，没必要再修建新路。学生可以绕路走。修了学生会抄近道，导致变懒散。2.他认为那些dirt和concrete非常natural，就是路应该有的样子，没有必要改变。

　　表达如果执行project的时候要考虑改project对环境的影响。
　　如果nagative对环境有害，他们就不会通过这个project。
　　教授举例说明：
　　一个建筑公司要在wetland上修shopping center，但是wetland土地很soft，不能hold center，所以要在上面加一层土。但是wetland 是prevent flooding 的，不能破坏，所以建筑公司 change plan，去别的地方修了。

　　男的学生本来要和朋友开车去城里参加art festival，但是还有一个paper第二天早上要交。 Solution 1: 晚上回来再写，但是会很累; Solution 2 : 不坐朋友车坐火车，在火车上写。选择在火车上写既不会tired，不耽误写论文，又可以参加艺术节。但是火车票贵，男的担心负担不起。
　　Task6
　　entry barrier when someone is starting business : 第一个是financial barrier 。教授说在开公司前要添加设备，比如开gym要买很多weighing equip，exercise machine，这些费用在盈利前必须开支。第二个是customer loyalty ，教授说新开的企业要和很多公司抢顾客。还是比如gym。如果开在已经有很多健身院的地区，很难让顾客光顾这家新店。
