The wolf and the fox want to eat the rabbit, but it wasn't easy to catch him.
One day the wolf says to the fox, "You go home and lie in bed. I'll tell the rabbit that you are dead. When he comes to look at you, you can jump up and catch him." That's a good idea," says the fox.
The fox goes home at once. The wolf goes to the rabbit's house and knocked at the door. "Who is it?" asks the rabbit. "It's the wolf. I come to tell you that the fox is dead." Then the wolf goes away.
The rabbit goes to the fox's house. He looked in through the window and sees the fox lying in bed with his eyes closed. He thinks, "Is the fox really dead or is he pretending to be dead? If he's not dead, he'll catch me when I go near him." so he said, "The wolf says that the fox is dead. But he doesn't look like a dead fox. The mouth of a dead fox is always open." When the fox hears this, he thinks, "I'll show him that I'm dead." So he opened his mouth.
The rabbit knows that the fox isn't dead, and he rans away quickly.
聪明的兔子
狼和狐狸想要吃掉兔子，但是这只兔子太难抓到了。
一天，狼对狐狸说：“你回家假装躺在床上。我去告诉兔子你已经死了。当他来看你的时候，你就可以跳起来抓住他了。”“真是个好主意！”狐狸说。
于是他立刻回到家。狼去兔子的房前敲了敲门，“是谁啊？”兔子问道。“狼，我是来告诉你狐狸已经死了。”说完狼就走开了。
兔子去狐狸家看情况。他通过狐狸家的窗户看到闭着眼睛的狐狸躺在床上。他想，狐狸是真的死了，还是在假装呢？如果他没有死，那么我走近他就会被他抓住。于是他说：“狼说狐狸死了。但是他看起来并不像死掉了呀。死去的狐狸通常都是张着嘴的。”狐狸听到这些话就想：我得证明自己是真的死了。于是他张开了嘴巴。
这时兔子知道狐狸并没有死，他就以最快的速度跑开啦。
The first snow came．How beautiful it was，falling so silently all day long，all night long，on the mountains，on the meadows，on the roofs of the living，on the graves of the dead. All white save the river，that marked its course by a winding（缠，绕） black line across the landscape（风景，山水画）；and the leafless trees，that against the leaden（沉闷的）sky now revealed more fully the wonderful beauty and intricacies of their branches．What silence，too，came with the snow，and what seclusion（隔离）! Every sound was muffled（蒙住, 压抑），every noise changed to some thing soft and musical．No more tramping（踏，践） hoofs（蹄），no more rattling wheels.Only the chiming of sleigh(雪橇)－bells，beating as swift and merrily as the hearts of children．
初雪
初雪飘飘，真美啊！它整日整夜静静地飘着，落在山岭上，落在草地上，落在生者的屋顶上，落在死者的坟墓上！在一片白茫茫之中，只有河流在美丽的画面上勾画出一道弯弯曲曲的黑线；还有那光秃秃的树木，映衬着灰蒙蒙的天空，更显得枝丫交错，姿态万千。初雪飘落时，是多么的静谧，多么的安详！一切的声响都趋沉寂，一切噪音都化作柔和的音乐。没有了嗒嗒的马蹄声，也听不见滚滚的车轮声！只有雪橇的铃铛奏出和谐的乐曲，那明快欢乐的节奏像孩子的心在跳动。
It’s a sunny day. A little mouse wants to go out and play.
这是一个晴朗的一天。一只小老鼠想要去外面玩
But he is afraid of the cat . so he peeks and peeks.

He peeks to the left and peeks to the right.

Suddenly, the mummy mouse shouts.

One night a robber stole all the gold.When the miser came again,he found nothing but an empty hole.
He was surprised,and then burst into tears.All the neighbors gathered around him.
He told them how he used to e and visit his gold.
"Did you ever take any of it out?" asked one of them."No，" he said,"I only came to look at it." "Then e again and look at the hole，" said the neighbor,"it will be the same as looking at the gold."
守财奴
从前，有个守财奴将他的金块埋到一棵树下，每周他都去把他挖出来看看。
一天晚上，一个小偷挖走了所有的金块。 守财奴再来查看时，发现除了一个空洞什么都没有了。
守财奴便捶胸痛哭。哭声引来了邻居，他告诉他们那里原先有他的金块。
问明了原因后，一个邻居问：“你使用过这些金块吗?” “没用过，” 他说，“我只是时常来看看。”“那么，以后再来看这个洞，”邻居说，“就像以前有金块时一样。”
Ass having heard some Grasshoppers chirping,was highly enchanted; and,desiring to possess the same charms of melody,demanded what sort of food they lived on,to give them such beautiful voices. They replied,"The dew." The Ass resolved that he would only live upon dew,and in a short time died of hunger.
驴和蚱蜢
一只驴听到几只蚱蜢在叫，便觉得很趣味;于是也想得到同样趣味的音调，便问蚱蜢吃什么东西过活，以致于能有这样优美的声音。蚱蜢说：露水。驴子听了，从此以后也单吃露水过活，不久便饿死了。
Once there were two mice.They were friends.One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the city.After many years the Country mouse saw the City mouse; he said, "Do e and see me at my house in the country." So the City mouse went.The City mouse said, "This food is not good, and your house is not good.Why do you live in a hole in the field? You should e and live in the city.You would live in a nice house made of stone.You would have nice food to eat.You must e and see me at my house in the city."
The Country mouse went to the house of the City mouse.It was a very good house.Nice food was set ready for them to eat.But just as they began to eat they heard a great noise.The City mouse cried, " Run! Run! The cat is ing!" They ran away quickly and hid.
After some time they came out.When they came out, the Country mouse said, "I do not like living in the city.I like living in my hole in the field.For it is nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid."
城里老鼠和乡下老鼠
从前，有两只老鼠，它们是好朋友。一只老鼠居住在乡村，另一只住在城里。很多年以后，乡下老鼠碰到城里老鼠，它说：你必须要来我乡下的家看看。于是，城里老鼠就去了。乡下老鼠领着它到了一块田地上它自我的家里。它把所有最精美食物都找出来给城里老鼠。城里老鼠说：这东西不好吃，你的家也不好，你为什么住在田野的地洞里呢？你应当搬到城里去住，你能住上用石头造的漂亮房子，还会吃上美味佳肴，你应当到我城里的家看看。
乡下老鼠就到城里老鼠的家去。房子十分漂亮，好吃的东西也为他们摆好了。可是正当他们要开始吃的时候，听见很大的一阵响声，城里的老鼠叫喊起来：;快跑！快跑！猫来了！他们飞快地跑开躲藏起来。
过了一会儿，他们出来了。当他们出来时，乡下老鼠说：我不喜欢住在城里，我喜欢住在田野我的洞里。因为这样虽然贫穷可是欢乐自在，比起虽然富有却要过着提心吊胆的生活来说，要好些。
The bull charged the wall furiously again and again,but although he bruised his head and chipped his horns,the mouse stayed safely inside his hole.After a time the bull gave up and sank down to rest again.
As soon as the bull was asleep,the little mouse crept to the mouth of the hole,pattered across the yard,bit the bull again -- this time on the nose - and rushed back to safety.As the bull roared helplessly the mouse squeaked:
"It's not always the big people who e off best.Sometimes the small ones win,you know."
老鼠和公牛
有一次，公牛躺着打盹，一只老鼠咬了他的尾巴。公牛怒气冲冲地跳起来，低着头追老鼠，一向追过院子。然而，老鼠跑得比他快多了，从容地钻到墙洞里去了。
公牛一次又一次地猛撞墙壁，尽管头撞肿了，角撞裂了，老鼠却安然待在洞里。过了一会儿，公牛不撞了，倒下歇着。
公牛刚睡着，小老鼠就爬到洞口，嗒嗒地跑过院子，又咬了公牛一口。这回咬了鼻子，又跑回安全的地方去。当公牛毫无办法地吼叫时，老鼠吱吱叫道：
"大人物并不总占上风。有时小人物也会取胜。"
It’s dark outside, the cat doesn’t want to sleep.

Tommy is turtle. He has no daddy, no mummy and no friends.
Tommy 是一只乌龟。他没有爸爸、妈妈和朋友。
He is crying. A bird comes. She says: “I can fly. Let’s fly!”
他在哭。一只小鸟过来了。她说：“我会飞，让我们一起飞吧。”
Tommy says: “ no,no, I can’t fly!”

A rabbit comes. He says: “ I can jump. Let’s jump!”

A monkey comes. He says:“I can climb the tree. Let’s climb the tree!”

Tommy says: “ no, no. I can’t climb the tree!”
Tommy说：“不，不。我不会爬树。”
A duck comes. He says: “I can swim. Let’s swim!”
一只鸭子过来了。他说:“我会游泳，让我们一起游泳吧！”
Tommy smiles: “ we are friends!”
鸭子笑了：“我们是朋友！”
One day the king of animals asked a cat to see how his palace was built. After a few hours, the little cat came back and said to the tiger, “Oh, your palace is very large, tall and beautiful. ”Several days later the tiger asked a pig to see it. He said, “Go and see how my palace is built. ”But when the pig came back, he said to the tiger, “My dear king, I thought your palace is beautiful, but it suits yourself only. ”
The tiger was very surprised when he heard it. “Why are the cat’s and the pig’s answers not the same? ”he said to himself. He then asked a camel to go to have a look. Before long the camel ran back out of breath and said to the tiger, “Oh, your palace is too small for you to live in, my king. ”
The king became very angry when he heard what the camel said. He said to the animals angrily, “Maybe somebody of you tell lies. Three people have three ideas. I want to kill you. ”Just at the moment, a fox came out to stop the tiger from doing that. He asked the tiger himself to go to see it before killing them.
After the tiger saw the palace himself, he thought that their answers were all right. He said to the animals, “To see with one’s own eyes is more important than only to hear others. ”
眼见为实
一天，百兽让一只小猫去看看他的宫殿建造得怎么样。几个小时之后，小猫回来了，对老虎说：“您的宫殿非常大，又高又漂亮。”几天后，老虎又让一只猪去看看。他说：“去看看我的宫殿建造得如何。”但是，猪回来之后却对老虎说：“亲爱的国王陛下，虽然您的宫殿很漂亮，但是它只容得下您自己。”
老虎听到这些话感到很吃惊。“为什么猫和猪说的话不一样呢？”老虎自语着。然后他又让一头骆驼去看一看。骆驼很快便气喘吁吁地跑回来了，它对老虎说：“我的国王，您的宫殿对于您来说，实在是太小了，都没法住。”当老虎听到骆驼所说的话时，变得非常生气。他生气地对动物们说：“你们三个人中有人说谎了，三个人有三个看法。我要处死你们。”就在这时，一只狐狸过来阻止老虎那样做。他请求老虎在杀他们之前，自己亲自去看看。老虎亲自看完宫殿后，认为他们的答案都是对的。他对动物们说：“眼见为实，耳听为虚。”
