　　Do you agree with this statement? It is more enjoyable to have a job which requires you to work only three days a week with long hours rather than to have one which demands you to work five days a week with shorter hours.
　　Our jobs, to some extent, decide whether our life is enjoyable, so people are always careful when choosing jobs. Nowadays, there are two popular ways of working—some jobs require people to work only three days a week with longer hour, while another type of jobs demands people to work five days a week with shorter hours. To me, the later type is much more attractive than the former one, because it will bring me more meaningful leisure time, a better salary, and a wider social circle.
　　Taking a four days’ break is good, but if we have such breaks every week, we are unlikely to figure out how to kill time. This happens to students who are on their summer vacations frequently. At the beginning of their vacation, they may feel excited, but gradually, they get bored because they already did whatever they wanted to try and there is nothing left to be tried. My father told me that taking a two days’ break is the most ideal choice because he would appreciate the leisure time and look forward to the next break after taking one without feeling it is boring.
　　If we work only three days a week, we are giving our bosses excuses to pay less money, and how can we feel enjoyable if our salaries decrease. Bosses always try their best to minimize the costs of companies, so it is possible that they only pay us three days’ salaries while asking us to do five days’ work. My sister used to work four days a week, but after she realized that she earns less money but have to work overtime every day to finish her job, she decided to sacrifice one of her leisure days in order to be treated fairly.
　　Working is not only about keeping oneself busy and making money, and it is also about having friends; however, people who do not usually stay in office can hardly have a close relationship with their colleagues and bosses. My uncle, Jonny, is a very successful salesman who do not need to stay in office once he finishes his tasks. Because of his excellent salesmanship, he only shows up three days a week. But recently, uncle Jonny changed his job and he is now a manager. Although manager earns much less money, uncle Jonny is satisfied, because he now knows everyone and everyone knows him, and this makes him feel that he is a member of the company but not a stranger in office.
　　Working for three days a week seems to be more enjoyable because it gives us more time to relax; however, if we take this fully into account, we will realize that the old way of working is still the best way.
