　　1. How long have you lived in your hometown?

　　I come from Shenyang. My parents have been living here for the past thirtyyears or so. I grew up here and I attended a well-known school called Schoolnumber 163. We live in a respectable area with many shops， restaurants， and avariety of other businesses. The people in our building are generally friendlyand quite， which makes it a pleasure to live there.

　　2. Where do you live?

　　I live with my parents here in Shenyang at the moment. To be more exact， welive in an apartment building in one of the northern suburbs of the city. I havemy own room and enjoy the privacy that it brings， but I am looking forward tothe day that I can have my own apartment. Allow me to explain： they are goodparents， and I love them very much， but I would like to be more independentsoon.

　　Well， that is not so easy to answer. Please allow me to explain. During theweek I live in a dormitory at the university， but over weekends I live with myparents in a village about one hour by car from Shenyang. So I really do notknow which of the two to call my home at the moment.

　　Yes， certainly. Shenyang is in the northeast part of China， and the capitalof the Liaoning province. It has about seven million inhabitants. It has manyheavy industries such as automobile， aircraft， and machine tool manufacturers.In addition， it is rich in history. For example， the Japanese invaded the cityand committed many atrocities (that is to say many crimes) during theoccupation. 　　但题目都不是如此，有些新题或者抽象题目往往让考生思维短路，语言受阻。比如：How important is art? 中文都不太容易想到答案的问题，英文更是如此。当然，很多考生们也容易

　　想到：important, relax myself , need it in our life等关键词。 但是很显然，这样的答案没有什么营养，而且众多考生也都是这样同一个思维定式。想要拿高分也就难上加难了。

　　对于这种问题，建议大家从思路上遵循“具体对抽象”的答题原则，也就是用具体的实例来解释抽象的问题，让抽象的问题变得更加具体化并容易理解。比如，艺术对小孩和成年人的重要性是不同，或者对男人和女人的重要性也是不同的。

　　2、语言篇

　　Q: How important is art?

　　A: I firmly believe art is significant and meaningful. For the young children, art is a sort of lesson at school for them to feel and express themselves bringing the inner world into the outer world by painting or listening to music. Also, adults are able to gain some enjoyments from it. Most of them are really into the Hollywood blockbuster or fiction novels like Avatar or Harry Porter.

3.雅思口语高分技巧

　　一、多用虚拟语气

　　虚拟语气可以使人感觉表达者是在考虑达到的结果或方式，尽量避免不好的结果或方式，或者推测可能出现的问题，并找出可能解决的办法;所以考生应当在自己的雅思口语中多运用would(had)rather、would(had)sooner、would(just)assoon之类的表达，或者在陈述句中使用过去式表示虚拟语气，或者使用if等引导的从句表示“可能性”。

　　二、多用疑问句

　　雅思口语中，陈述句的表达可能显得生硬、没礼貌时，尽量使用疑问句、否定句或从句，尽量避免自己的主观判断或武断，以积极的、建议的、比较的、人性的语气，代替消极的、命令的、直接的、武断的语气。

　　三、多肯定他人

　　考生在说话的时候要以他人为中心，以肯定他人、赞同他人为前提，让自己显得谦卑、渺小。说完之后，还要附带一句“Thankyou”或“Thanks”。其实，这种礼貌的表达方式是来自古老的中国。这是东西方文化的共同点，也是为人处世的基本原则。了解英语中礼貌的表达方式，尽量让自己的英语表达更有礼貌，融入社会。

　　四、多用情态动词

　　西方人在与他人交流时，比较多地使用情态动词：can、could、may、might、would等等;情态动词(Model Verbs)又称为情态助动词(Model Auxil-iaries)，表示说话人的语气，可表达建议、要求、可能和意愿等，使得说话的语气比较有礼貌。

　　五、正确运用“please”

　　考生应该在句尾加please，而不是在句首加please。当please用在句首的时候，语气听起来就比较强，听起来像命令。
