　　1. What natural sounds do you like the most?

　　I enjoy the sound of rain, cause it can make me feel peaceful and calmed down. When I hear the sound of rain, I can feel that it is washing away the dirt of the city, and after the rain, a brand new and fresh world will appear in front of you.

　　2. What sounds do you dislike?

　　Speaking of the sound I detest, to tell you the truth, I kinda dislike the barks. Because almost all my neighbours raise some pets, and dogs must be the most part of them. Every morning I am waked up by the barks but my clock. So for me it’s a little bit annoying.

　　3. Do you mind noises?

　　I might say yes! Cause I have always been a kind of person who is easily to be disturbed, I mean, concentrating on something is hard for me. So noises can be kinda killer to my concentration. Just like, I even can’t study well if somebody else is making a phone call at the place where I can hear their talking.

　　Maps：

　　1. Do you use a map?

　　Yes. I use maps most when I’m not sure of the territory or just to look over a particular state or country. Sometimes if I get lost, a map at hand can be easily used to find out how to get from our starting point to our destination by our preferred route.

　　2. Do you think map is important?

　　Yes, map can give us direction when we are in unknown areas. Some electronic maps might offer more current information, can search out local services such as restaurants and gas stations.

　　3. Do you prefer to use electronic maps or those made of paper?

　　I prefer to use paper map cos you know electronic maps might sometimes become useless due to low battery, weak signal, technic errors, and physical damages; or simply because of stolen. On the contrary, a paper map can never go wrong, and no would bother to steal it.

　　1. Do you often give gifts to people?

　　Absolutely! I usually give gifts on a lot of occasions such as birthdays of my families and my friends. I believe giving gifts to the person I care and love on some special occasions represents my best wishes to them. Plus, I place much emphasis on gift-giving for the reason that I think it’s a friendly way to bond with others and to strength our relationship.

　　2. Do you and your friend or family members give each other gifts?

　　Yes. We share gifts on family celebration or festivals. New year’s visit, birthday parties and weddings and mid-autumn festival are occasions on which gifts are most widely shared. Some youngsters even celebrate Christmas, Valentines’ day.

　　3. Do you think it is easy to choose what to give other people?

　　Not at all! Every time I need to give other people gifts, I have to rack my brain trying to work out what is the best gift for him or her. I can take up to days and hours in the mall trying to find something unique for someone special to me because I don't want the receiver to get the same present from me every year! Plus, I need to consider that whether the gift I delicately choose might meet his or her taste. I want to be a great gift-giver. All these considerations make it hard for me to give gift every year!

　　4. Do you think it is important to give expensive gfits?

　　It depends! Exchanging gifts is a tradition in my country, but I wouldn’t go so far to say that giving pricey presents is necessary. In my country, people only give costly gifts to other people when they have to bribe those powerful officers. Of course this is illegal behavior and we should totally against bribery. But under some other circumstances, I think it’s quite common for parents to give expensive gifts such as a fancy watch to their children on some big days.

　　1) Which do you prefer to eat, lunch or dinner? Why?

　　I prefer to eat lunch. I usually have a good appetite during lunchtime. I will have a variety of foods for lunch, which can provide different nutrients to my body. Besides, I don’t have to worry too much about getting fat if I eat some food of high calorie because I often do some exercises in the afternoon. According to some science research, one should not eat much during the dinner; otherwise, one will put on weight or have some problems with his stomach. So I often eat some vegetables and fruits at dinner.

　　2) Do you think there are any benefits from eating breakfast?

　　Sure, there are lots of benefits. Eating breakfast will provide your body with enough energy so that you can study or work more efficiently in the morning. I would say, eating breakfast is a must for a healthy diet. People who do not eat breakfast will be haunted by many kinds of diseases in their later years. Some people often skip breakfast in an effort to lose weight, but that's not a good idea. Skipping meals, especially breakfast, can actually make weight control more difficult. Breakfast skippers tend to eat more food than usual at the next meal, or nibble on high-calorie snacks to release hunger. There are some studies suggesting that people tend to add more body fat when they eat fewer, larger meals than when they eat the same number of calories in smaller and regular meals.

　　3) Are you willing to try some new food?

　　Yes. I always like trying new food. Nowadays, food is far more than something that fills our stomachs. Different kinds of food stand for different cultures. For example, the popular TV program named A Bite of China represents our marvellous Chinese food culture. I believe new food stands for a new culture. New food also means a new life. I like experiencing new life, just as I like tasting new food. As a southerner, I felt very excited to try many kinds of northern food when I first went to Beijing. Since then I fell in love with many delicious foods there.

　　1)Do you like to take photographs? Why?

　　Yes, I do. I think photography is a really awesome thing, especially among young people now, many people of my age spend lots of money and effort getting into photography, and it becomes a trend.

　　2)What kind of photos do you like to take?

　　A. I have narcissism, so I like take selfies. Because I know which angle I look best in front of the camera. If I have other people take photos for me, they usually choose the front angle but it makes my face look as big as a pie.

　　B. I prefer to take pictures of portrait, coz the moments involving people are usually quite hard to capture. So, every time a nice photo of persons can give me a sense of satisfaction and achievement.

　　C. I love document scenery. I am lucky enough to live in Suzhou and could never get bored looking at my own hometown.

　　3)How do you keep your photos?

　　I don’t keep on pictures on a portable hard drive, I’ve heard of stories about the invasion of privacy on the PC, so I try to keep all my precious pictures on a separate disk.
