1.around prep.环绕，围着;大约，接近 adv.向四面，朝各个方向
beat around the bush 转弯抹角，兜圈子
例句：Don't beat around the bush. Come to the point.
你不要兜圈子了。想说什么就说什么。
(be) around 露面，被见到(appear, be seen)
例句：1.I wondar wtat's happened to Jerry. He hasn't been around for at least two weeks.
不知道杰瑞出了什么事。他已经至少两星期没有露面了。
2.The head of the board will around tomorrow morning.
明天上午可以见到董事长。
get around to 抽时间做…
例句：1.I've been meaning to get my eyes checked. I just haven't got around to it yet.

around the clock 一天不间断，一天24小时不停

tire out 使…筋疲力尽(exhaust oneself)
例句：I tired myself out trying too hard and it was hard to catch up.
