Fall in Love with Two Cities, Love the Two Countries Have you ever traveled in Munich['mju:nɪk], which is jokingly called the only Italian city north of the Alps [ælps]( 阿尔卑斯山) by someone? And have you ever visited to Hangzhou, which is the capital city of Zhejiang Province? And then, what do you think are the differences between the two? Many people may answer: “There are many differences between them, for example, the geographical [ˌdʒi:ə'ɡræfɪkl] locations and the natural conditions.”I agree with them, what’s more, as far as I am concerned, the differences between Hangzhou and Munich reflect the difference三s between China and Germany. The differences between Munich and Hangzhou in my opinion are as follows. For one thing, in the aspect[ˈæspekt] of the industries, Munich is the city of industrial, for example, BMW's headquarters is located here. But the most important industries of Hangzhou are finance [ˈfaɪnæns] and tourism [ˈtʊərɪzəm] industry. For another, in the aspect of tourism features['fi:tʃəz](特色), how would you like to sip a glass of cold beer[bɪə(r)] while sitting in the shadow[ˈʃædəʊ] (影子)of a Chinese pagoda[pəˈgəʊdə](塔) surrounded[sə'raʊndɪd] (被……环绕着)by English gardens in the middle of a southern German city? It may sound unlikely, but that is what millions of visitors from around the world experience in Munich in late September and early October every year. They come to celebrate Oktoberfest(啤酒节,德国十月节), probably the largest public festival in the world. Because of above reasons, it is fair to say that the city of Munich was founded on beer. However, the tourism features of Hangzhou may be different from Munich’s because the tourism features of Hangzhou are related with their beauty and those of Munich have something to do with their culture. The most famous scenic [ˈsi:nɪk] spot[spɒt] of Hangzhou is West Lake, which is not only famous for its picturesque [ˌpɪktʃəˈresk] landscape[ˈlændskeɪp], but it is also associated [əˈsəʊʃieɪtɪd] (被与……联系起来)with many scholars[s'kɒləz] and national heroes. In addition, many ancient buildings in surrounding areas are among the most cherished(被爱护的) national treasures of China, with significant[sɪgˈnɪfɪkənt] artistic [ɑ:ˈtɪstɪk] value. Last but not least, in the aspect of people’s diet in two areas, there’re quite lot differences between the foods of these two cities. Munich is known for its beers, but in Hangzhou, we have Dongpo pork, Longjing green tea, Beggar’s Chicken and so on. Hangzhou had been a great city of delicious food since the Song Dynasty. And in daily lives, in Munich usually fetch a hot dog for their lunch because of the fast pace of life. For Hangzhou, there’re more and more delicious food around China being spread here, the local people also pay more and more attention to diet. Generally speaking, there are many differences between each country even each city , however each area has its own amazing advantages. 本文来源:https://www.wddqw.com/doc/1b7d431b6fdb6f1aff00bed5b9f3f90f76c64d09.html
