A special Experience Last semester, my roommates and I decided to earn some money for our holiday travel. We had drawn up several plans, and finally decided to buy some earrings in Wu’ai Market and sell them in our campus. We had never thought that selling was a tough task, but actually, we got into trouble at the very start. We chose a crowded road as our selling place, and put a small desk near the roadside. After the earrings were put in place, we excitedly waited for our first customer. However, things didn’t develop as we wished. Many students passed by our desks, but few would like to have a look at our goods. We hadn’t sold one in an hour. Suddenly, one of my roommates suggested:” We should cry out to draw others attention.” Her suggestion was reasonable, but it was somewhat embarrassed to shout in front of so many people. “Hey, my dear fellow students, cheap and beautiful earrings, come and have a look, and there must be something you need!” At first, our voice was very low. Soon, we got familiar to the situation. The shouting was really effective. Some girls were attracted to our desk, and we used a lot of sweet words to persuade them to buy the earrings. Since girls liked to follow the crowd, more and more girls came to our desk. It seemed that everything was developing smoothly. However, just before we packed up the unsold earrings, the campus police saw us. They warned us not to sell goods in the campus again, or we would be fined. We had to show our great gratitude for their “magnanimity” and promised not to sell goods here again. That new experience impressed me a lot. Although the money we earned was far from the travelling expense, we earn something that is more important than money. Money is hard to earn, but easy to spend. Do not spend money like water. 本文来源:https://www.wddqw.com/doc/2b6eb7d050e2524de5187e7f.html
