Boy:Well,thankyou mom and dad.As a matter of fact,I can solve them by myself. Parents:we don't think so.We are still worried about whether you can live a good life if you leave us. Boy: Don't worry, Mom and Dad. I promise to only make mistakes you never made. I think neither of them is absolutely right,because the parents are too worried about the boy,and the boy is much too confident and over-dependent on his parents. Real independence in my eyes Nowadays,with the increasingly rapid economic globalization and urbanization, independence, which has raised public interest and concern, is becoming more and more popular throughout the world.It's said that a large number of young people have lost their independence. Many of them are not able to find jobs but have to stay at home, thus becoming NEETs （Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training）.Giving up their underpaid jobs and relying on their parents are the ways they live. With the deeper analysis on NEETs,it's believed that they are not only lack in independence but also very extravagant.This news confused me for a while.Independence is a kind of character which is widely needed in our society at present. But,what is real independence and how to become independent ? As far as I can see,family education plays a decisive role.In old days,in order to increase the labor force and get money from having their daughters to be married,a pair of married couple always Had lots of children.But in recent years, most family have only one child,Parents put too much expectations and worry on their children.This is bad for teens' development.Besides,parents belief that it' s much too breakneck for their children to live by themselves .It is human nature for parents to protect their children.However,when protection becomes overprotection,it will cause tons of problems.Such as they are not able to deal things by themselves or can’t do any housework,this will cause a lot of troubles in the future of their life. In addition,Some medias report various accidents such as the school bus accident in QingYang and a large quantity of robberies.Those event even make some parents don't want their children to go out.Though we know that all of these are come from love,but overprotection still does more harm than good. In fact,It is of grave importance for parents to educate and exercise their children.Overprotection will make teenagers become the flowers in the green house.To solve this,The government had better strengthen their moral education out of school. As for us,we should clear that a good demeanor of independence determines whether we can lead an enjoyable life in the future.To understand the importance of independence will help us to become independent.Independence has its own ability which is able to let a man be a person with strong characters and strong sense of responsibility.And the next question is how can we decrease over-dependence on our parents?First,we should learn to do some things alone.For example,we can do housework,go to the banks to go through some formalities and get to know the transportation lines of the city.Second,we ought to adapt ourselves for the varieties of our situation in life.An independent teenager needs to have strong possessiveness.Possessiveness is an important sign of adamancy.It's a good thing to become quickly and capable. In addition,we are living in a challenging society.Certainly we can Look for protection from our family ,but we can't keep on endless occasions,we ought to be diligent forever even we may make lot of errors .Life is just as an endure test,difficulties will always happened to us,we can't look down upon them.One step at a time and face all the difficulties,then we can achieve our dreams.
