Topic: Anyone can post information on the Internet. Some people say most of what we read on the Internet is inaccurate. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It seems quite interesting that the Internet is ubiquitous(普遍存在的;无所不在的) among the general public's daily work and life, symbolizing the advent of the Internet era. The internet empowers us to seek the very information we need. However, due to the fact that posting news and information is totally available to everyone, some claim that the message we acquire may prove less precise. This essay is to discuss this topic in a more balanced way with exemplifications.

The most pressing problem is that some individuals take advantage of the Internet to commit fraud. An abundance of information on the Internet, amazingly, is not severely regulated. It is apparent that anyone with a certain amount of money and minimal skills with computerbased knowledge is capable of posting an article immediately. One impressive case in point is that one famous milk company hired a group of staff to make up false comments on his rivals' commodities such as the inferior quality of products and the poor customer service via the Internet, but intensify great efforts to promote the quality of their products in the name of the real customers. As a consequence, a countless number of clients are cheated and fall victims to these false customers' feedback.

However, the advocating(提倡的,主张的) voice can also be heard about such a free posting mode. Although Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, for instance, it has a large group of active and professional editors who remove erroneous(错误的,不正确) information. It is true that Wikipedia serve vast quantities of information concerning almost all fields, rendering(致使) prompt helps to the reaserchers.

Undoubtedly, some postings() on the Internet are of immense() importance to us, especially ones about the advice for the computers. We tend to be encountered with(遭遇) quite a few intractable(棘手的) problems such as how to update and edit some documentaries or files, and the postings related to these headaches will be the very suggestion we can turn to.

In summary, to ensure the accuracy(精确度,准确性) and credibility(可信性,实性) of the information on the Internet, the government may attempt to establish increasingly stringent censorship(可信性,确实性) like demanding the supply of the posters' real and overall personal information, which is a fairly practical way.

Generation Gap(代沟)

A few years ago it was fashionable to speak of a generation gap. Parents complained that children didn't show them proper respect and obedience, while children complained that their parents didn't understand them at all. Many critics argue that it is built into the fabric of our society.

One cause of the generation gap is the opportunity that young people have to choose their own life. In traditional socieries, children live in the same area as their parents, marry people their parents know and approve of, and often continue the family occupation. In our society, people often move out of the home at an early age, marry or live with people their parents have never met, and choose occupations that are

rather different.

In our upwardly mobile society, parents often expect their children to be better than them. However, these ambitions for their children are another cause of the division between them. Often they discover that they have very little in common.

Finally, the speed of change in our society is another cause of it. In a traditional culture, people are valued for their wisdom, but in our society the knowledge of a lifetime may become out of date. The young and the old seem to live in two very different worlds, separated by different skills and abilities.

No doubt, the generation gap will continue to be a feature of our life for some time to come. Its causes are rooted in the freedoms and opportunities of our society, and in the rapid pace at which society changes.

Frustration Education should be Strengthened among College Students

College students should be guided correctly to face frustrations in life, which has been generally accepted. Frustration is inevitable during our life, and frustration education should be carried out among colleges and universities. The truth of it is deep and profound.

Many remarkable examples contribute to this argument. A case in point is that there are an increasing number of college students committing suicide each year when confronted with some kind of frustration. This is close to suggest that strengthening frustration education allows of no delay. For another example, it seems that successful people tend to be good at dealing with frustrations. Moreover, most of the students are often annoyed and discouraged by frustrations instead of drawing lessons.

Judging from the evidence offered, we might safely draw the conclusion that frustration education is essential to the college students. But what is worth noting is colleges should also provide psychological service for the students while giving frustration education. To conclude, college students should be guided in the right path when facing setbacks in life.
