北京毕业旅行英语作文

After graduation, Beijing, our capital, is the city I want to travel to day and night. Today, my dream has finally come true.

In Beijing, I visited many places of interest: the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the monument to the people's heroes, the Forbidden City, the summer palace. But what impresses me most is the Forbidden City.

The Forbidden City is the place where Ming and Qing emperors lived and ruled. It is said to have 9999 rooms. It is located on the central axis of Beijing, with Tiananmen Square in front and Jingshan Park behind. As soon as you step into the gate of the Forbidden City, you will find that the buildings here are carved with dragons and phoenixes everywhere, revealing the extraordinary status of the former owner here. The pillar over there is also thick, and our two children can't hug each other. The architecture of the Forbidden City contains ancient elements of gold, fire, water, earth, wind and water. The vermilion beam is a fire. The tiles on the roof are the same as

the loess ground. The beams at high places are carved with dragon and phoenix patterns with gold plating. The whole building is made of thick wood. There are also two large copper water tanks on the outdoor grass.

We also visited the treasure house. There are the imperial crowns and crests, deep green emeralds, huge weathered pearls, cat clear stones like Persian cat eyes, long morning pearls. Those jewels are beautiful.

Finally, we visited the imperial garden, enjoyed the rockeries and flowing water with Jiangnan style, and ended our pleasant trip to the Forbidden City.

I reluctantly left the Forbidden City. It is the testimony of China's thousands of years of civilization and the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation.
