The history of Zhejiang University goes back to 117 years ago,which was founded in 1897.It is one of the earliest Western academic new type schools in China.During the war,Zhejiang University suffered disaster. but insisted on the School's Idea.With the efforts of the teachers and students, it finally survived from those difficulties.After inspection of Zhejiang University,the British scholar Joseph Needham said,"I found in this Oriental Cambridge."

Recently,Zhejiang University has been one of the top 3 universities in China.As a comprehensive university,Zhejiang University covers lots of subjects.Since I don't know your major,it is a little hard to offer you further information about details of majors:)Teachers and students are nice and gentle.Not only do we foucs on study and academic researching,but also care about the people around.

The school locates in the city of Hangzhou.A saying goes that:"Hangzhou is the most beautiful city in the world!"I don't know whether it is true,but it is the the most beautiful city I've ever seen.And I find that the school equips the beauty of this city.We have five campuses.The names are:"Yuquan","Xixi","Huajiachi","Zhijiang",and"Zijingang".These names are all "water" related.In English,they mean spring,stream,pool,river,and port.Each campus has its own beauty.Yuquan is charming,Xixi is elegant,Huajiachi is simple,Zhijiang is ancient and Zijingang is modern.

Canteens offer all kinds of Chinese food.Some of them offer Western food,too.There're also lots of good restaurants around campuses.

Since the everiment and conditions are good,I think you may enjoy your life at Zhejiang University.
