Language is a means of verbal commuication. The features of language include: arbitrainess, duality, creativity and displacement. Arbitrainess is the forms of linguistic signs bear no naturalf relationship to their meaning. Duaity is meant the property of having two levels of structures, such that units of the primary level are composedof elements of the secondary level andeach of the twolevels has its own principles of organization . And displacement means that languages enable their users to symbolize objects, events and concepts which are not present at the moment of communication. It has long been recognized that language is an essential and important part of a given culture and that the impact of culture upon a given language is something intrinsic and indispensable. Language is an indisensable carrier of culture. Culture finds a better representation through language use. A joint studay of these two subjects will definitely broaden the horizon of human knowledge in general and enrich the research of these sciences in particular.
