【译文】尽管一些男人喜欢孩子且有大量与孩子相处的经验，但是很多父亲不会对孩子表示特别的关心，也很少与孩子相处。
【析句】本句的主干由主句和although引导的让步状语从句构成，主句others do not particlularly care for……and spend……, although引导的让步状语从句中，主句there are some men,who lie children and may have……为定语从句修饰some men。
2. It is argued by some writers that the transition to the father's role, although difficult, is not nearly as great as the transition the wife must make to the mother's role. (1994. 阅读. Text 2)
【译文】一些作家认为，尽管男人成为父亲这一角色的转变十分困难，却比不上妻子变成母亲的角色转变大。

【析句】例句3与例句1的结构相似，都是由主句和even though引导的让步状语从句构成。主句the father is thought by……as……,even though从句中，主句为we mentioned the fact, that引导同位语从句growing numbers of women are working……。
