1.介绍端午节英语作文范文 篇一

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, which is the most traditional and ancient festival in China. Our community is filled with joy and a festive atmosphere.

There are many customs on the Dragon Boat Festival, such as: rowing dragon boats, eating Zongzi, tying five silk threads, and so on. Of course, my mother had already tied the five silk threads on my wrist and ankle before the sun came out. Listen to my mother, the five wire rope, also known as the Long Life Thread, is a beautiful expectation that parents hope their children can live a hundred years!

In the evening, my mother bought a bag of Zongzi. Zongzi is wrapped in bamboo leaves, like green dolls, and can smell a sweet fragrance from afar. Peel off the bamboo leaves and take a bite, the glutinous rice turns red. Take another bite, it tastes sweet and smooth. It's really sweet and delicious! While eating Zongzi, I thought of Qu Yuan, a historical figure. Back then, Qu was betrayed by a villain and committed suicide by throwing himself into Jiang with injustice. Local people went to the Miluo River to salvage corpses but were unsuccessful, so they threw eggs and cooked rice into the Miluo River. It is said that when fish and shrimp are full, they will not eat Qu Yuan's body.

Mom also made strawberry soup, the red strawberries set off the thick soup, it's really delicious!

We had a great time during this year's Dragon Boat Festival.

The annual Dragon Boat Festival is coming, and we have to eat delicious Zongzi again. The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. Every Dragon Boat Festival, we have to eat Zongzi and make Zongzi. In some places, we also have dragon boat races and other activities, which are very lively. Although the Dragon Boat Festival is short in time, it is very meaningful.

Zongzi was eaten in memory of Qu Yuan, the minister of King Huai of Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period. He advocated to promote the meritocracy and empower the country and strengthen the army, and advocated to unite Qi against Qin. This was strongly opposed by aristocrat Zi Lan and others. Qu Yuan was dismissed from his post, expelled from the capital, and exiled to other places. When the Qin army broke through the capital of Chu, Qu Yuan could only watch helplessly as his homeland was invaded, feeling heartbroken. However, he had no way to serve his country, and ultimately died by throwing a stone into the Miluo River on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, composing a patriotic movement with his own life.

This year, the Dragon Boat Festival is coming. My mother bought all kinds of Zongzi from the supermarket. I can't wait to pick up the leaves of zongzi and eat them. The fragrance of reed leaves rushed into my nose. At this moment, I couldn't help but think of the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. His patriotic spirit of caring for the country and the people inspired and infected me. We are young children living in the embrace of our motherland. Like our predecessor Qu Yuan, we should establish lofty ideals and aspirations from a young age, focus on reading and striving to become stronger, study hard, and grow up to serve our motherland. Build our motherland into a more prosperous and strong country.

The traditional festival of Dragon Boat Festival in China is the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year.

According to the custom, people will hang mugwort on the doors and windows that morning to drive away mosquitoes. To commemorate the great poet Qu Yuan, people will also make Zongzi and eat mugwort eggs. In southern regions of China and other regions, people still race dragon boats mainly to showcase the charm of various dragon boats. There are many people competing in dragon boats, dressed in festive attire and shouting loud slogans, while chasing the dragon boats ahead. You chase me, I chase you, it's very lively.

On the Dragon Boat Festival, our family will also make Zongzi, and I will follow my grandmother to learn how to make Zongzi. To make Zongzi, first wash the leaves and then wash the glutinous rice. When everything is ready, start to make it. Zongzi has a variety of tastes, including red dates, bean paste, and chestnuts. I envy Grandma's skillful technique. I chose the bean paste filling and asked my grandmother to teach me how to make it. With her help, I first folded the zongzi leaves into a triangle, then added a red date, and then folded the glutinous rice in half. Half of the filling was loose, and another one was loose. I deeply feel that it seems simple for Grandma to make Zongzi, but it is not easy. I must learn how to make Zongzi.

In the evening, our whole family will sit together and eat big, fragrant and sweet Zongzi, and the happy Dragon Boat Festival will leave me with the fragrance of Zongzi.

The fifth day of May every year is an important traditional festival in China - the Dragon Boat Festival.

On this day, every household eats palm, drinks realgar wine, hangs calamus, mugwort leaves, and some places even hold dragon boat races??

There is a widely circulated story about the Dragon Boat Festival. In ancient China, there was a great patriotic poet named Qu Yuan. In 278 AD, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, Qu Yuan threw himself into the Old Luojiang River in despair and indignation. When the local people heard about it, they immediately rowed boats to salvage it, and never saw Qu Yuan's body in Dongting Lake.

In order to express their grief, people rowed on rivers, which later became dragon boat races. The people were afraid that the fish in the river would eat Qu Yuan's body, so they took rice balls from their homes and threw them into the river to prevent fish and shrimp from spoiling Qu Yuan's body. Later, the custom of eating Zongzi came into being??

From the above stories, it can be seen that these are all customs formed in memory of Qu Yuan. There are still many traditional cultures in our country, and as a Chinese, I usually need to learn more about these splendid ancient cultures.

China has many rich and colorful traditional cultures, which are profound and have a long history. Since I was very fond of Zongzi when I was young, I was very impressed with the "Dragon Boat Festival".

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfav or in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
