　　The university is planning to spend a huge amount of money on building a new sports complex (举措) because they want to draw the attention from more high-level students.(原因1) And also, they are really hoping tostrengthen the tie between the university and the local community.(原因2) But the woman thinks it is a terrible idea.(表态) She thinks that spending money in such placesas the library and cafeteria, which top students obviously care more about, isa much better choice compared with wasting it on building sports complex.(原因1) Besides, it is not going to help strengthenthe relationship because people did not come to games because they hated towatch the teams losing, not because there were not enough seats.(原因2)

2.托福口语的的技巧

　　1、托福口语分数要有猜测能力。在交流中，有一个词你没有听懂，这时候就需要猜测来架起一座桥梁来弥补这个缺口，否则交流就会中断。

　　2、如果已经学会界定，但理解还有偏差，那就要训练How to explain things in different ways(用不同的方式解释同一事物)。一种表达式对方不懂，美国人会寻找另一种表达式最终让对方明白。因为事物就一个，但表达它的语言符号可能会很多。如果替换为I want to kiss you I want to hug you, I will show my heart to you 等，或者给对方讲电影《泰坦尼克》，告诉对方那就是爱，这样一来对方可能就明白了。这才叫真正的替换。也就是说用一种不同的方式表达同一个意思，或者一个表达式对方听不清楚，举一个简单易懂的例子来表达，直到对方明白。这就要多做替换练习。这种替换没有对智力构成挑战，没有启动思维。这种替换句子的基本结构没变，我们听不懂I love you，肯定也听不懂I love her。

　　I think planting trees would be a good choice for me. First of all, such programs are common in almost every city. Green plants absorb carbon dioxide and emit oxygen, so they offset the green house effect we humans are experiencing and make the air we breathe cleaner. 4.托福口语Task3的综合解题法

　　综合法将口语答案分成了三个部分，分别是学生的态度以及对其阅读材料或支持或反对的理由。这种答案的优点是综合，与综合口语的含义一致。将听力与阅读材料结合在一起进行描述，体现了学生的理解和复述的能力。

　　The woman is strongly opposed to the university’s decision to construct a new, expensive sports stadium. (表态+举措) First of all, she claims that the university’s current stadium is fine.While she agrees that it is not the best stadium, she claims that she uses itall the time and it seems fine to her. Likewise, she declares that it serves the needs of the school and students using it. (理由1)She also believes that, instead of spending millions ofdollars on a new stadium, the school ought to take that money and build ascience library with it. The woman says that good universities should havespecialized libraries like that one would be. (理由2) She also declares that the science majors should be studying in a specialized library instead of having to go to the main libraryto do their studying. (理由3)

　　If I would choose an inappropriate behavior in public, I would definitely go for smoking, I know there are rules out there which forbid smoking in public places, but still some people are doing this!
