Lead-in Watch a video about a young lady and a young man. After watching, ask the following questions: (1). How was the lady’s morning? ① By the time she went out, the rain ______ _____. ② When she got into the taxi, she ____________ some money. ③ As she was in the taxi,all the traffic lights _____ _____. (2). How was the man’s morning? ① When he was ________ on the street, he got water all over him. ② He was about to sell ______ to the man. ③ By the time he ran after the man, the man ______ ______. Step 3. look at the pictures That’s about Mary’ morning. Groupwork: Try to retell the story according to the pictures. Use more sentences to describe each picture.
