1年份

1)一般情况下,将表示年份的四个数字按前后分为两组,每一组的数字都按基数词来读。例如: 1865年读作 eighteen sixty-five 1998年读作 nineteen ninety-eight

2)如果前两个数字为非“零”数字,后两位数分别为“零”,则先读出前两位数,然后将后面的两个“零”读为 hundred

例如: 1900年读作 nineteen hundred 1800年读作 eighteen hundred 3)第三个数字为“零”(其他数字不是“零”)的年份的读法应当将该“零”读为Ou例如: 1809年读作 eighteen O nine

4)关于千年的一些读法。 2000年读作 two thousand 2008年读作 two thousand and eight(或twenty O eight 2日期 日期是我们在日常生活中经常用到的数字之一。日期的写法可以采用基数词和序数词两种形式。例如: March 1也可以写成March 1stMay 29也可以写成May 29th但是,日期的读法只能用序数词的形式。例如: October 31October 31st读作Octoberthethirty-first August 26August 26th)读作Augustthetwenty-sixth 3.时间 时间的读法有以下一些特点:

1)可以直接按照表示时间的数字来读。例如: 1056读作 ten fifty six 830读作 eight thirty

2正点后的前半小时,通常说几点“过”past几分。例如: 925读作 twenty-five past nine 216读作 sixteen past two 3)正点后的后半小时,通常说几点“差”to)几分。此时,所说的“几点”指的是“正点”后的下一个“正点”例如: 1055读作 five to eleven 840读作 twenty to nine 4英语中的15分钟也可以说成“一刻钟”a quarter。例如: 415读作 a quarter past four 745读作 a quarter to eight 45分钟读作 three quarters .基数词: 表示数目的数词

1.两位数: 几十和个位数之间加连词号, : twenty-three, forty-seven, ninety-six

2.三位数的读法: 第一个数字+hundred + and +后面的一位或两位数字, : 101读作one hundred and one, 864读作eight hundred and sixty-four

3.四位数和四位以上数字的读法: 阿拉伯数字每三位为一段, 从后往前用逗号分开, 每个逗号处所用的数词分别为: thousand, million, billion, : 21,634,755读作 twenty-one million six hundred and thirty-four thousand seven hundred and fifty-five. 注意: 读这样的数时, 只在hundred一词后加and

4.hundred, thousand, million, billion表示具体数目时都不用复数形式, 但它们的复数形式可以用于一些词组中, : hundreds of, thousands of, millions of, billions of. 5.数词dozen, score的用法与hundred, thousand等相同 .序数词: 表示数目顺序的词

1.序数词一般是由基数词加th构成, 序数词前一定要加the, : the seventh, the thirteenth, the one hundredth

2.y结尾的基数词构成序数词时, 先把y变为i, 再加eth, : the twentieth, the fortieth, the fiftieth, the eightieth

3.大于二十的基数词对应的序数词, 只将末位数变为序数词, 前面的其他位数仍用基数词, : 532读作five hundred and thirty-second

4.不规则的序数词如下: the first, the second, the third, the fifth, the eighth, the ninth, the twelfth
