比较级 一、什么叫做“比较级”？ 形容词及副词比较级是指两个人或两种同类的东西在形状、功能、属性等方面进行程度上对比，从而求得形状、功能、属性、上的差异。 二、“比较级”的结构 “比较级”可以简单的归纳为： 是动词（am/are /is）＋形容词或副词比较级＋than 三、“比较级”的特征 “比较级”的特征成首先从单词的音节来区分。单词可以分为单音节词与双音节词。一般来说单音节的单词从规则上来说就是直接家er 。双音节单词就直接在单词前面加上摸more.而比较级的变化可以分为规则与不规则变化。 1、 规则变化 （1）单音节词和少数双音节词，直接在词尾加-er来构成比较级 short－shorter small－smaller clean－cleaner （2）以一个辅音字母结尾的的重读闭音节单词（辅音＋元音＋辅音）双写结尾的辅音字母再加-er. big－bigger hot－hotter （3）以y结尾，y前面是辅音字母时，改y为i，再加-er. easy－easier busy－ busier （4）以- le和不发音的e结尾的单音词和少数结尾的双音节词只加-r. nice－nicer large－ larger （5）他双音节词和多音节词，在前面加more，most来构成比较级和 最高级。 beautiful－ more beautiful 2、 不规则变化 在英语单词中，有一些形容词或者副词的比较级的变化是不规则的，下面列举一部分单词给大家认识一下。 good(well)－better bad ( ill ) － worse old －older/elder much/many －more little － less far －farther/further 比较级专项练习 一、从方框中选出合适的单词完成句子 heavy tall long much many big (1) How is the Yellow River?
