口语研习小组成员 国贸09-2 Will Power Character---李耀莲Lily (L), 胡丹Dan(D), 杨烁宾Sara(S), 魏蓝Voice over Scene---in the college dorm Voice over: Dan is playing a computer game on her laptop. Sara is sleeping. Lily came back from a morning jogging. L: Hey, Dan, what are you doing? D: I am playing Spider Solitaire. I am nuts about it. (非常喜欢它) L: Where is Sara? D: Hush! Don't you see? She is still sleeping. L: Wow, this is clear as mud!(难以理解) It’s almost nine. She got to get up now. Do you remember we are required to make up a three people dialogue for tomorrow's English class? D: Yes, I do. It’s a piece of cake. (很简单的事)You wake up Sara. L: You'd better stop playing right now. We don't have much time to prepare this dialogue. Sara! Sara! Time to wake up! S: Five more minutes, please. L: No way, Time really flies. We still have a lot to do. Hurry up. S: (sits up in her bed) Can I lie down two more minutes, please? When Dan finishes her game, I will be fine. (Yawns) I don't know why I am so sleepy. (lies down again.) L: This is really serious, quit screwing around. (别闹了) If you two don't stop what you are doing now, I will find somebody else to be my partners. S: All right. Rest assured that I’ll do my best.（我一定尽力） L: That's more like it. We need will power. S: what is will power? L: Will power is trying hard not to do something after your own heart. (所喜欢做的)And if you can do it through will power ,then you succeed. D: You mean like trying not to play Spider Solitaire when I am breaking down the door to (非常想)play one round? S: You mean like trying not to stay up late? L: Right. Through educating yourself and strengthening your own will power, every one could resist the temptation of entertainment. Voice over: Dan turns off her computer. Sara gets up and goes to the bathroom. Two minutes later ,the three girls are boning up on (专注于)their dialogue. S: Lily, can we take a little break? Let me lie down for a minute and then we continue our work? D: Lily, Can I play one round? After it I will feel full of beans. (精神旺盛) L: No! Am I beating a dead horse(徒劳无功)? Let’s finish our work first before we do anything. You need will power!!! D&S: That's true. We have will power!
