Ladies and gentlemengood morningfirstly I’ll define the motion ,give the model and then state the benefits to the mothers , husbands and companies. Finally my partner would elaborate the benefits to the problem of sexual discrimination and the way to make this policy works. Firstly, the definition of allow and maternity leave which I read from Oxford Dictionary. Allow means to accept or admit sth. Maternity leave refers to a period of time when a woman temporarily leaves her job to have a baby, care for a baby or make arrangements for the childs welfare. So we believe that THW accept the mothers choice that they can let their husbands be on maternity leave to care for their children after mothers give birth to a baby.

This policy would be guaranteed by law and be executed after the discussion of both the couple and their companies.

Argument No.1

This policy gives the mothers and the husbands more choices. They can choose to transfer or not. They can choose to have their husbands to take care of their children together. They can also choose to take care of their children first and then back to work to let their husbands to care for their children. This policy kills three birds with one stone. Firstly, the benefits to the mothers, mothers burden of taking care of babies can be shared by their husbands. Secondly, According to the Career Investigation Report on Female Happiness conveyed by All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), that the almost 10% of the married, working women had not have a baby because they are afraid that they dont have time to take care of their babies. This policy bring them the good news, mothers can go back to work earlier in case the work doesn’t be delayed for too long, especially the office lady who dare not to have a baby for fear of taking care of babies will take long time and let them miss the chance to be promoted. For the husbands, this policy provides them a chance to stay with their beloved wife and babies and increase the bond among families. Thirdly, for the babies, it is good for the babies growth. No matter the mothers and husbands choose to take care of their children together or alternately, the babies can get more love and care than only a mother can give.

Argument No.2

With regard to the company, this policy will benefit not only the mothers companies but also the companies that the husbands work for.

First of all, for the company that wife works for, on one hand, they must temporarily find someone to take her place, and after this temporary employee enter the company, he is still not familiar with the job, in other words, he lacks experiences and he needs a period of adjustment, the quality of the work is not particularly good , which will also bring loss to the company. On the other hand, if the company can't find anyone to fill her shoes, vacant for long will still cause damage to the interests of the company. On the other hand, the company approves the transfer of maternity leave, which can loosen the husbands for a while, and makes them heroes both in the office and at home. A good state will bring more.
